On Monday, February 17 the Stone Zoo will host a fun-filled day of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Come visit the Stone Zoo during February vacation at 149 Pond Street in Stoneham. Watch the North American river otters, Mexican gray wolves, snow leopards, and other animals have fun and learn about their adaptations to the winter temperatures. Animals get bored being cooped up all winter. Zookeepers must come up with great enrichment for the animals to keep them stimulated and happy.

Come see the wonderful lights at the Stone Zoo located at 149 Pond Street in Stoneham from now until January 5th. Enter the winter wonderland of tree lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights. Go visit the bald eagles, North American porcupines, reindeer, and arctic foxes.

You may have the chance to meet Santa's reindeer up close during a nightly photo opportunity. Please note that meeting the reindeer may be subject to change due to weather and animal's needs.

Things are really heating up on the campaign trail. Voters are upset with the status quo on Beacon Hill and don’t feel that we should be paying more in taxes while Massachusetts continues to increase spending, but cut services and raise local taxes. They understand that the only way to change Beacon Hill is to elect new representatives.

A very good friend of mine, Cameron Bain, has been working tirelessly trying to make the Tri-Community Bikeway a reality. If you are so inclined please send a communication in support of this worthwhile project for our communities. A sample letter is attached.
