After A Hard Day's Night, I wanted to be a film-maker, then I lived & breathed personal film-making, simply made & absorbing. Funded, I helped others begin. Once digital, I enjoyed capturing & modifying video frames. I now use a still camera. Mine are hopeful expressions of ecological consciousness. I try to show others what they could love if they slowed, looked & didn't name a thing.

Gerry was born and raised in North Woburn. Her father dabbled in photography and when she started photography classes in college he gave her his 35mm Argus Rangefinder to use instead of her little Instamatic. She was hooked! In 1972 she married and moved to her husband’s ancestral home on the shores of Horn Pond where she lives with her family. She has studied and photographed the natural environment around Horn Pond and also other Woburn Conservation areas, and in several other states.
