The 5th Annual Health & Wellness Fair will be held on Saturday May 5th from 10am – 1pm at the new James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn. They will be holding the fair in the Gymnasium along with a Blood Drive for the American Red Cross. If you are interested in donating you can sign up HERE, and enter the Sponsor Code: WELLNESS,  or call 1-800-RED CROSS (733-2767). This will also be at the James L.

On Monday, April 30th, the Woburn Historical Society and Woburn Public Library, in conjunction with the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area and the American Antiquarian Society, will present “Declaring Independence: Then and Now; Reconsidering the promises of the Declaration of Independence: A narrated performance and community conversation.” What did the Declaration of Independence mean to citizens of 1776? What meanings does it hold for us today?

Please join the Woburn Public Library and Woburn Welcomes for an casual evening of education and assistance, served with a side of cake. On Wednesday, May 2 from 7:00—8:30 PM at the front table of the Woburn Public Library (Temporary Location).

What's better than reading children's books?  Having professional musicians bring the story to musical life by playing, singing and providing expert narration!  Please join the Woburn Public Library at the Reeves Elementary school for a fantastic morning of story and music (expertly provided by the faculty and staff of the Powers Music School in Belmont).

The Woburn Business Association's hospitality group, HERE (Hospitality Entertainment & Restaurant Exchange) invites restaurants and chefs to compete in the 1st Annual Mac n Cheese Bowl on April 26th. Bring your best version of a mac n cheese recipe and let the public decide whose version is the favorite. They are expecting 200 people to attend this great community event at the Courtyard Marriott in Unicorn Park. In addition to over 20 mouth watering varieties of Mac 'n Cheese, they will have games, prizes and a cash bar!
