Horn Pond is one of our gems in Woburn, of course. But undiscovered it's not. Unless its pouring rain or 10 degrees, you can usually expect a lot of company walking around the pond (good for social capital, right?!?). Or unless it's 4:30 a.m.

Does anyone know of any local groups, churches, organizations putting together school supply bags for kids in need in Woburn ? My workplace used to get together with the Salvation Army in the Lowell area for a project they called Apple Tree, but I'd rather give local if possible.

 One of the great things about the Citizens Park Concerts is the way all ages come out to enjoy them. During the last concert, a great show by Beat Soup, children had a great time dancing and whirling around to the ska beat!

Today is the last day of AmeriCorps service for Jordan Jones, who has done a great job with the Woburn Youth Council and other SCI programming this year. We all here at SCI wish her well in her next steps. We still have openings for the Youth Programs Coordinator and other AmeriCorps positions here in Woburn. Cli
