Shovelers

SCI would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that helped with our shoveling for seniors program this past weekend. Thanks to you we were able to get many seniors across Woburn shoveled out, helping many of them where they would have been otherwise unable to get out of their homes.

As the season continues we are still seeking Woburn residents that will be able to help us if further needs arise. We are consistently getting new seniors added to our list and will need people that can check in over the next few days to see that people get a little extra shoveling help.

If you are able to do a little more shoveling over the next few days, please let me know and I will try to match you with seniors that are still in need.

Mayor Scott Galvin invites residents to join him, city and school officials, civic leaders and students for a first annual program at City Hall on Monday, January 21, 2019, at 10:45 a.m., in conjunction with St. John’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. luncheon and speaking program.

The City program, from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., is being held at City Hall just ahead of the luncheon as a way of celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. King by reminding everyone here in our community that we remain committed to one another and the well-being of all of our residents.
