In the wake of recent tragedies across the country, community members are wondering what they can do to make sure incidents like these stop occuring. The Northwest Surburban Health Alliance-Community Health Network Area 15 (CHNA 15) is providing one solution by offering a 2-day Mental Health First Aid training.
This training is intended for adults who work with individuals that have mental health issues. After this training, people will be able to recognize and appropriately deal with signs of mental health issues.
CHNA15 will host these trainings on March 1 and March 8 from 9:00am-4:30pm at Minutemen Senior Services, 26 Crosby Drive, Bedford, MA. If you are interested in registering for this training, please fill out the attached registration form and send it out as soon as possible as spots will fill up quickly. For more information, please contact Janice Hanson, CHNA 15 Coordinator at email@example.com.
The registration fee is $40 and must be received by February 20. The fee covers the cost of a manual and lunch for both days. Registration is expected to be high and will be on a first come, first served basis. Registration closes on February 20.
