The Woburn Historical Society needs your help! They are currently working on a new film about the history of the churches in Woburn. To make this film a reality, they are seeking old photographs and films from first communions from the late 50's, 60's and 70's or older!

The history of the churches in Woburn is rich. As any resident of the city knows, there are numerous churches in Woburn. Some of the local churches include St. Barbara's, The First Congregational, St. Charles, the First Baptist, the North Congregational, the United Methodist, the Lutheran Church of the Reedemer and many more.

The Historical Society is looking for information on churches that are still active as well as ones that no longer exist or have moved to different locations.

If you have any old pictures or videoes from churches in Woburn that you would like to share, please contact Kathy Lucero at or Rodney Flynn at
