The ninth Touch-a-Truck Show event is May 17, 2015 from 10 AM to 1 PM at West Cummings Park on Washington Street in Woburn.  In previous years, this overwhelmingly successful free community event attracted more than 3,000 visitors.  Exhibitors and spectators are welcome!

FREE COMMUNITY SUPPER at North Church, March 19

There's another Wicked Good Neighborhood Suppah at North Church on Thursday, March 19th.  Supper is served 5:30-6:30 pm.  It's free!  Come for a chance to meet some of your neighbors, and enjoy a wicked good meal.  Chef Paula is cooking chicken-broccoli-ziti this week.  Everybody's welcome, no strings attached.

Tired of winter? Come in from the cold! Enjoy a hot meal and a warm welcome, and meet some of your neighbors. The Wicked Good Neighborhood Suppah is on Thursday (Feb. 26), with supper served 5:30-6:30 pm. It's free. And whoever you are, you are welcome here!

On Saturday, April 12 the First Congregational Church will host an open house. This event will take place at the First Congregational Church located at 322 Main Street in Woburn from 2:30 pm until 5 pm. The church will be celebrating the restoration of the steeple that was damaged in a hurricane a few years back. Rev. Dr. Richard Weisenbach will present a brief celebratory service at 3 pm. Mayor Scott Galvin will speak in recognition of the restoration. After the ceremony there will be light refreshments of cake and coffee.

Homeowners Assistance Community Event


The HOPE NOW Alliance is having a free event happening Tuesday, August 28th that may help struggling homeowners in New England.
The FREE Help for Homeowners Community Event will be taking place at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.  
The Obama Administration's Making Home Affordable Program, HOPE NOW and several local, non-profit partners and state agencies are hosting this event that will afford homeowners the unique opportunity to meet directly with their mortgage servicer and/or a HUD-approved housing counselor to find alternatives to foreclosure.

On Sunday, June 10 at 2pm, Woburn Public Library volunteer Linda Olsson will present the next Community Conversation, screening over 100 photographs from the Patrick Farino Collection.


The audience will be encouraged to identify what they recognize.
