Implicit Biases are our unconscious associations that generate feelings and attitudes about other people based on race, ethnicity, age, gender and other identifying traits. We all have biases that we are unaware of, and they significantly impact how we interact with others, personally and professionally. This workshop will introduce participants to the concept of implicit bias, what it is, how it develops, its impacts, and research based debiasing strategies.
