Earth Day

The Woburn Mall and WREN (Woburn Resident’s Environmental Network) are inviting the community to the annual Earth Day Expo at the Woburn Mall, located at 300 Mishawam Road this Saturday, April 25.The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and includes more than 30 exhibitors. The annual event that began at Woburn High School more than 15 years ago started out as a small, Woburn-based display of environmentally related topics. It has since grown to be an expo of dozens of businesses and organizations from Woburn and other surrounding communities promoting both the environment, as well as things to do and see.  read more »

I didn't realize it was Earth Day when I set out for a walk around nearby Horn Pond.  I'm simply looking to get back into the swing of a regular exercise routine now that temperate weather is upon us here.  But soaking in this early spring morning certainly wound up being a compelling way to start Earth Day 2009.  read more »

On Saturday, April 19th from 10:00AM to 2:00PM Woburn will be celebrating its annual Earth Day program at the Woburn Mall, 300 Mishawum Road and is being sponsored by WREN (Woburn Residents Environmental Network) and The Woburn Mall.
