The City of Woburn’s Agricultural Commission and farm volunteers are proud to announce that Woburn’s Fourth Annual Oktoberfest & Family Faire will take place on Saturday, October 3rd from 12 noon to 4:30 PM.  The event will once again be held at Woburn’s Spence Farm property, located at 41 Wyman Street in Woburn.
As in years’ past, Oktoberfest is a family-friendly event and there is no admission charge.  There will be plenty of Oktoberfest-themed food and beverage for sale at a reasonable cost.  Offerings include bratwurst, sauerkraut, pretzels, hamburgers, hot dogs, a variety of pastry, coffee, water, soft drinks, and of course beer!

The event is free to attend and all childrens offerings are free as well! Woburn's 3rd annual Family Oktoberfest will once again feature the world renowned King Ludwig's Bavarian Band sponsored once again by Edward Jones Financial Services/Bill Sullivan and is free to attend! The event will feature traditional bavarian food (brats, knockwurst, pretzels, streudel, burgers and hot dogs) and drink (beer, soda, coffee, cocoa and water) for sale at family friendly prices!

The Summer Concert Series Committee is proud to announce the 2013 Horn Pond Summer Concert Series! The Horn Pond Summer Concert Series is a collection of free concerts designed to promote community spirit organized by SCI and sponsored by local businesses.

This year’s concert series will again be held at Ice House Park at Horn Pond. Ice House Park is the name of the flat grassy area that runs along Sturgis Street, to the right of the boat ramp. For your comfort and enjoyment, please remember to bring folding chairs or a blanket and insect repellant.

We have an exciting lineup of bands scheduled this year! All the concerts will be held on Friday evenings, unless a rain date is needed.

The holiday season is upon us! If you're looking for a great way to celebrate, then come on down to the Woburn Commons on Saturday, November 24 from 3-7pm for the 18th Annual Festival on the Commons!

This free event will include fun family activities such as face painting, singing hayrides, a petting zoo and more! Be sure to stop on by and visit the Woburn Fire Department's Smoke Safety House, see the ice sculpting demonstrations, or have a bite to eat from one of the many food vendors.

You will be entertained throughout the evening with live musical performances of holiday music. The children can meet Santa and tell him their wish lists, and everyone will enjoy the lighting of the Commons!

Family NightALL ACTIVITIES HAVE BEEN CALLED OFF DUE TO THE WEATHER.  Looking for a fun family activity this week? Head down to the annual Family Night put on by the Woburn Recreation Department and the Woburn Rotary Club, held at Library field.  The fun starts at 6 p.m. with activities including a bouncy house and fire safety house along with grilled hot dogs and hamburgers.
