Johnny the K

Woburn Families are invited to an evening with Johnny the K.  This family program is designed for parents and children.  Families are encouraged to bring a blanket to make themselves comfortable on the gym floor for the program.

Nationally acclaimed and award winning musician and teacher, John Kelleher, along with his 12 string guitar and his unique collection of costumed hats, masks, and disguises, educated and inspires his audience through his spirited and interactive style of music.  His exciting and unique method of teaching and empowering children has been greeted with overwhelming approval and support for the past 23 years!

This program will take place on Wednesday, May 16, at 6:00 pm at the Malcolm White Elementary School.

Pathways of the Patriots

The Woburn Militia of Gardner’s Regiment will present the 6th Annual “Pathway of the Patriots” at the Tarky Field, Russell Street , Woburn , on Saturday, April 28 from 12 noon until 4 pm.  This event, free and open to the public, is sponsored by Century 21 Crowley-Braese real estate brokerage, and will feature guided walking tours of Woburn’s Battle Road, with short scenes from Woburn’s history played out along the way.  The tours begin at noon and on the half hour, the last at 3 pm.

Middlesex County 2012 K-8 Art Show

The Woburn Guild of Artists is proud to participate in the Middlesex County 2012 K-8 Art Show. The exhibit is Tuesday, May 1, from 5PM to 8PM at the Malcolm White School on Bow Street. The show will present about one thousand young people’s artwork from around the county, and the artists of the Woburn Guild have been asked to set up at the exhibit! Come and see the youngsters and the oldsters at work on their art.

Next week is National Volunteer Week!  To celebrate, volunteers of all ages are invited to volunteer with Social Capital Inc. and the North Suburban YMCA as they team up to create a community garden.  For more information on this exciting opportunity, please click here!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
All ages are welcome to come down to McCue Garden Center, 200 Cambridge Road, Woburn, for their annual Easter Egg Hunt.  This free event will take place on Saturday, March 31, from 9 am to noon.  Baskets, paint, sparkles, and feathers will be supplied.  Eggs will be hidden among the spring flowers!
