Day For Kids - a family event at the Woburn Boys & Girls Club

From date:
Sat, 09/17/2011 - 12:00pm

The Boys and Girls Club of Woburn would like to invite you to join in A Day for Kids. The third Saturday in September is set aside each year to celebrate and honor America's youth. This special event is about celebrating your children, grandchildren or any child that is in need of mentoring. By spending meaningful time together, this event is meant to establish stronger bonds between families.

The Keeping Kids Safe Project will be on Saturday and Sunday, February 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Keeping Kids Safe Project will be hosting a local event at the showroom of Lawless Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Woburn. KKSP will be there to provide free, FBI quality digital finger printing for kids as well as educate the whole family about basic safety. The event will also include balloons, face-paintings, goodies, and visits from local businesses and organizations.

This week is National Family Week, and YMCA Healthy Family Home wants to give you some tips for ways to spend some quality time with your family.

  1. Kick off National Family Week with a healthy meal together.  Include the whole family in planning and preparation.  Choose brightly colored foods for the meal and make it a celebration with homemade decorations.
