The Woburn Historical Society invites you to join them in celebrating St Patrick's Day with the Merry Minstrels' annual performance of music and dance of the Emerald Isle. This year's program will take place on Sunday, March 18, at 4pm, at the Wyman School Auditorium, 677 Main St, Woburn. Bring your family & friends to enjoy traditional Irish tunes and sing along with well-known favorites.  A sampling of Ceili Dancing will be demonstrated by the Lexington Historical Society Dancers.  Light refreshm

Reminisce: New England's Premiere Doo-Wop Group Performs

The Woburn Historical Society presents Reminisce, New England's Premiere doo-wop group, who will be performing at the Flaherty Auditorium at Woburn Memorial High School on Monday, December 12 at 7pm. The show is free and open to the public, and doors will open at 6:30pm. Along with a great night of music, a restaurant raffle drawing with thirteen prizes will be drawn just before the show. Jo Henley will perform at the Horn Pond Summer Concert finale on August 28

It has been a wonderful summer! Finish it off strong at Horn Pond with Jo Henley playing the final free concert on Friday, August 28 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, courtesy of sponsor, Salem Five Bank.

Co-founded by longtime musical collaborators Andy Campolieto and Ben Lee, Jo Henley is a Boston-based roots-rock band that has been winning over fans and critics alike since 2006 with their unique blend of rock, folk, country, and bluegrass. Campolieto’s and Lee’s mutual love of all forms of American roots music shines through in Jo Henley.

Irish Whispa will be playing a free concert on Friday, August 7 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, courtesy of sponsor, McCue Garden Center. If the weather is good, they will be at the usual outdoor venue of Horn Pond, but if necessary this concert will be moved to the indoor venue of the barn at Spence Farm, located at 41 Wyman St. McCue Garden Center will steam freshly picked corn on the cob for the crowd!

Irish Whispa is a Boston area based band who is immersed in Irish music and culture. Striving to keep traditional Irish ballads alive, Irish Whispa is comprised of Brien Connolly, on guitar and lead vocals, Katie Foley, on fiddle and vocals, Kevin Shea, on guitar, banjo and vocals and Bob Fowkes on bouzuki, vocals and bass and Rob Anderson on bass, harmonica and pipes. Their style is influenced by the Dubliners, Wolfetones, Pogues, Irish Rovers, Clancy Brothers, Christy Moore, & many others.
