Most people remember Carbo for his pinch hit 3 run homer that tied the game in the 8th inning of the World Series Game 6 in 1975. In his book "Saving Bernie Carbo", co-written by Chelmsford clinical psychologist Dr. Peter Hantzis, we learn about Carbo's personal struggles, dysfunctional upbringing, and other events in his life.
