Horn Pond Summer Concert featuring Los Sugar Kings

Please join us for the second Horn Pond Summer Concert on Friday, June 23 from 6-8pm at Ice House Park, alongside the Sturgis Street edge of Horn Pond. The concert will feature Los Sugar Kings, a Boston-based, Cuban roots, rock and reggae fusion quartet! It will be sponsored by Salem Five Bank. Enjoy this fun & free family event!

First Horn Pond Summer Concert series meeting

Horn Pond Summer Concert Featuring: The Love Dogs - Swing Band

This concert is being sponsored by Michael de la Maza and will be held from 6-8 pm on Friday, July 25 at Horn Pond, near the intersection of Beacon Street and Sturgis Street. If needed, the rain date for this concert will be Friday, August 15.

The Concert Series Committee is proud to announce the lineup for the 2014 Horn Pond Summer Concert Series! Thanks to our local sponsors, McCue Garden Center, Michael de la Maza, Jump On In, and Colonial Package Stores, Inc., this concert series is free to the residents of Woburn and surrounding towns. Walkin’ The Line will be playing the final show of the Horn Pond Summer Concert Series this Friday, August 16 at Horn Pond. This concert will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ice House Park section of Horn Pond, near the intersection of Beacon St. and Sturgis St. This concert is being sponsored by Lennon Insurance Agency and Arbella Charitable Insurance Group Foundation.

Walkin’ The Line is a high energy, modern top 40 country band taking New England by storm! Walkin’ The Line is an all-star lineup of musicians, bringing years of experience with some of the best bands around, and they are ready to bring their killer live show to Horn Pond! With influences ranging from Miranda Lambert to Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley to the Zac Brown Band, Walkin’ The Line is sure to keep you dancing all night!

This is the eleventh year that the Horn Pond Summer Concert Series will entertain Woburn residents. The concerts are a perfect way to spend summer nights with your fellow community members and enjoy the beautiful Horn Pond area. Bring your family, friends, and lawn chairs to Ice House Park to enjoy some live music. These concerts are free to the public due to the generous support from local businesses.

The Summer Concert Series is coordinated by Social Capital Inc. (SCI), North Suburban Y, Woburn Residents’ Environmental Network (WREN), and the City of Woburn. A special thank you goes out to the Woburn DPW for their logistical assistance.

Come on down to Horn Pond this Saturday, August 10 for some live music by local talent. Every Other Thursday, a local band with ties to Woburn is scheduled to play the Horn Pond Summer Concert Series this Saturday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ice House Park section of Horn Pond, near the intersection of Beacon St. and Sturgis St. This concert is sponsored by Woburn resident, Michael de la Maza.

Every Other Thursday is an Alternative Rock band consisting of two Berkeley students and a freelance musician, Pat McManus on vocals and guitar, Calvin Williams on lead guitar and Mike McCall on drums.
 
Bad weather has caused this concert to be rescheduled several times so far this summer, but weather forecasts seem promising for this Saturday night. However, in the event of rain, please check www.sciwoburn.org for cancellations.
