Concert Rescheduled Due to Weather
Due to weather tonights concert featuring the Bedford Big Band and sponsored by Reading Cooperative Bank has been rescheduled for August 14, 2009.
SCI and our partner organizations hope you will be able to make it out for the (newly designated) kick off concert on June 26th featurinbg Beat Soup and sponsored by Woburn Mall/KGI Properties. Concerts run from 7-9 P.M. and are comppletely FREE! All you need is some friends and a lawn chair! read more »

7th Year of Concert Series - A Success!

Professor Harp - Next in Line to Perform
Professor Harp, otherwise known as Hugh Homes, was born and raised in Boston. He was a Rock 'n Roll drummer until 1969 when a combination of two things happened; the Boston Blues revival and witnessing a performance by George Allen "Harmonica" Smith. The combination of these two events turned him into a blues harp player, otherwise known as the harmonica. read more »

Bluegrass Beats Draws Large Crowd for Southern Rail
A lucky crowd got quite a show last Friday night with the second Jack Marlowe Park Concert performer Southern Rail. The concert, sponsored by Michael de la Maza, drew a crowd of over 150 music enthusiasts to hear some great original and proven favorite bluegrass tunes.
The great weather helped Southern Rail make an extraordinary debut in Woburn. The Band, made up of banjo, 6-string guitar, bass cello, and mandolin players all joined together in riveting harmonies to produce vocals everyone enjoyed. Southern Rail’s reputation for strong material, heart-stopping harmonies, and infectious good humor got the crowd laughing and clapping to the beat throughout the two hour concert. read more »
