Mayor Galvin and the Woburn Recreation Department invite you down to Library Park on Thursday August 20th for our annual Mayor's Field Day! Field Day will run from 11am - 1:30pm and these are the following scheduled events: Face Painter : 11:00am - 1:00pm Magic Show: 11:00am - 12:00pm Balloon Artist: 11:00am - 1:00pm Curious Creatures 12:30pm - 1:30pm Bouncy House 11am - 1:00pm Giant Obstacle Course 11am - 1:00pm Dry Inflatable Slide 11am - 1:00pm Spin Art 11am - 12:00pm Temporary Tattoo Station * New this year 11am - 1:00pm Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will also be served.

June 25th until August 19th from 1:30 till 3:30 a program called Club Recreation will be taking place at Library Park in Woburn. The program is designed to get children out of the house during the summer months. The kids will play games and sports with their peers, and have a variety of different fun activities.

Library Park Blues Festival

Join the Blues for Veterans Association for the first ever Library Park Blues Festival and show your support for local veterans!

Headlining the music festival will be Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters along with other entertaining Blues acts.

Tickets are $20 per person and children under 12 attend for free.

The Blues for Veterans Association will be hosting the first ever Library Park Blues Festival on Saturday, August 24th from 11:00 a.m.- 11:00 p.m. at Harrison Ave. in Woburn.

Headlining the music festival will be Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters along with other entertaining Blues acts. Tickets are $20 per person and children under 12 attend for free. All profits from the festival will be donated to charitable organizations that support local veterans and their families such as: the American Legion Operation Comfort Warriors, H.O.T. (Helping Our Troops), Friends of Woburn Veterans and the Edith Norse VA Hospital in Bedford, MA.

There will also be a Friends of Woburn Veterans Motorcycle Run sponsored by Patriot Riders of America. Registration in the motorcycle run includes admission to the Blues Festival.

The Blues for Veterans Association was organized by local business women and men along with local citizens whose common goal is to show our veterans we care.

Join the Boys and Girls Club of Woburn for the 4th Annual Kick in for Kids Road Race and Health Walk on Sunday, May 5 at Library Park in Woburn (behind the Woburn Public Library). This 4.2 mile course runs through the city streets of Woburn and around picturesque Horn Pond.

Register by May 3rd! To register, you can fill out the form attached below and submit it to the Boys and Girls Club of Woburn (1 Charles Gardener Lane) or you can register online by clicking here.

The pre-entry registration fee is $25 and the day of entry fee is $30. The first 300 registered runners will receive a t-shirt!

On the day of the event, registration will begin at 8:30a.m.. The health walk will kick off at 10:30a.m. and the road race will begin at 11:00a.m.

The day will also feature a number of fun activities such as massages provided by Elements, a post event party with a live DJ, food and refreshments, raffles and awards, and prizes. See the attached flyer for full event details!
