This three-hour session is filled with tricks and tips that will make your yard work much easier this summer. The dialog session will cover the reasons behind your favorite subjects: planting, watering, fertilizing, and lawn care. Warning: Gardening is addictive. At the conclusion of the course, you may find yourself enjoying your yard.

Growing Plants From Seeds

Why wait until April to play in the dirt. Save money and plant something different in your garden this year by starting and growing flowers and vegetables indoors from seed. This three-hour session will provide the information needed to improve germination rates and grow healthy seedlings indoors for spring planting. The session will cover seed selection, growing mediums, and how to create a micro-climate favorable for plant growth.

On Saturday October 19, McCue Garden Center located at 200 Cambridge Road in Woburn will be hosting their 2nd Annual Howl-O-Ween Doggie Costume Contest from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
Join McCue's for their Dog Costume Contest. Contestants must be present to receive their prize if they win, also pups should be registered by 1 pm!

Fall Fairy Gardening Class

On Saturday October 12, McCue Garden Center will be hosting their Fall Fairy Gardening Class. This event will take place from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm. Join McCue's by the fire for friendly haunted tales and delicious s'mores while creating a fairy garden atmosphere! The price for the event is $15, be sure to call (781) 933-1385 and register so you do not miss out on the fun!

Scarecrows for Solution


On both Saturday and Sunday October 12 and 13, McCue Garden Center, located at 200 Cambridge Road in Woburn, will be hosting Scarecrows for Solutions. The event is scheduled to take place from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm. Scarecrows for Solutions will help benefit both the Boys and Girls Club and the Woburn Public Library.

Come support the community you live in and spend time with your family by decorating a scarecrow at McCue Garden Center located at 200 Cambridge Road, Woburn, MA. The event will take place from 7am-6pm on Sunday October 13. The $15 donation to create your one of a kind scarecrow will help benefit either the Boys and Girls Club of Woburn or the Woburn Public Library, whichever you decide.
