Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest!

Join the McCue Garden Center for it's first annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest! Prizes will be given out for different categories. Register your dog by 1pm to be entered into the contest. There will be other fun activities including face painting, corn maze, poisionous garden, FREE popcorn, and pet adoption opportunities. Calling all CSA Members & vegetable gardeners!

Wendy Garf-Lipp, Executive Director of United Neighbors of Fall River, will be teaching a canning class on Saturday, July 14, from 11am-12pm.  Come learn how to enjoy the harvest all winter, as Wendy demonstrates the water bath canning method for vegetables, and a pressure canning method for meats and beans.

Calling all CSA Members & vegetable gardeners!

On Saturday, July 14, Wendy Garf-Lipp, Executive Director of United Neighbors of Fall River, will be teaching a canning class from 11am-12pm.  Come learn how to enjoy the harvest all winter, as Wendy demonstrates the water bath canning method for vegetables, and a pressure canning method for meats and beans.

SCI helped to arrange this class, which is being taught by Wendy Garf-Lipp, Executive Director of United Neighbors of Fall River, one of the partner sites where SCI has an AmeriCorps Member serving.   The class will be held at McCue Garden Center, 200 Cambridge Road, and is free and open to the public.

Easter Egg Hunt!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
All ages are welcome to come down to McCue Garden Center, 200 Cambridge Road, Woburn, for their annual Easter Egg Hunt.  This free event will take place on Saturday, March 31, from 9 am to noon.  Baskets, paint, sparkles, and feathers will be supplied.  Eggs will be hidden among the spring flowers!
