On Saturday, March 8 the Middlesex Lions Club is hosting a fundraiser to help benefit eye research. This event will take place at the Sons of Italy Hall located at 168 Lexington Street in Woburn beginning at 6:00 pm. The comedians supplying the laughs are Tom Gilmore, Jim Lauletta, and Jeff Koen. There will be music, raffles, a cash bar, and of course lots of laughs. The cost to attend is $20. All proceeds from the event will help benefit eye research and related charities.

Horn Pond Day

On Saturday, June 9, the second annual Horn Pond Day sponsored by the three Lions clubs in Woburn: Woburn Host Club, Woburn Middlesex Lions and the Woburn Breakfast Club, will take place. 
This year there will be a Bicycle/Doll Carriage Parade Contest, Fun Run and Road Race for both adults and children sponsored by the YMCA, crafters, food, music, hot air balloon rides, 4H Petting Zoo, pony rides, 4 local bands and some surprises.  The day is scheduled to run from 10am - 4pm.  

Dust off your dancing shoes and head over to the Moose Hall this Saturday, April 14!  The Middlesex Lions are hosting a Jukebox Review Dance with music from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s.  The evening will include a dance contest, raffle prizes, door prizes, and a silent auction.  The event will start at 7 pm.

Jukebox Review Dance

On Saturday, April 14, the Middlesex Lions are hosting a “Jukebox Review” Dance with music from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s.  The dance will start at 7pm at the Moose Hall, 4 Federal Street, Woburn.  All proceeds benefit the Middlesex Lions Eye Research and Related Charities.  

MiddlCoats for Kids Posteresex Lions are collecting "Coats for Kids" from now through January 8. 

You can donate quality winter coats for kids, adults and babies too!

There currently have two collection sites in Woburn with boxes at the YMCA on Lexington Street and at Woburn City Hall hopefully more sites will follow.

Anton's Cleaners will be cleaning these coats free of charge. Start cleaning out those closets and ask friends, neighbors and family to donate.
