The North Suburban YMCA is currently seeking youth between grades 3-5 for their Future Celtics basketball program. The program is for basketball players looking to develop their skills, drills, and leadership. Program participants will also get the opportunity to visit and participate in clinic events coached by Celtics players or coaches.

The North Suburban YMCA will be hosting a Career Open House this Thursday, December 8 from 4pm-6pm. The open house will focus on a number of early education career opportunities that are currently open at the YMCA. Some full and part-time positions include:

- Early Education Directors
- Preschool Teachers
- Infant/Toddler Teachers
- After School Group Educators
- Child Watch Staff

North Suburban YMCA Fired Up 5K Road Race

On Sunday, June 29, 2014 the North Suburban YMCA will host their Fired Up 5K road race. The race will begin at the Y located at 137 Lexington Street in Woburn. There will be a 800 meter kids run beginning at 8:30 am. At 9:00 the 5K race will begin and will take place around scenic Horn Pond. Pre-registration cost for the race is $20 and ends on Friday, June 27. A free t-shirt will be given to the first 200 participants to register. Day-of-registration is $25 from 7:00 - 8:30 am on Sunday, June 29.
