Spence Farm- An old tradition... A new beginning!

City of Woburn LogoMayor Galvin has called a public hearing in the city council chambers to discuss the proposed plan of buying the Spence Farm property to preserve it as a wilderness area.  The plan would cost 2.7 million dollars and would purchase a valuable 7.6 acre plot of land.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 9th at 7pm in the City Council Chambers.  The meeting has been rescheduled twice in recent weeks, so it is a good idea to check this page and the city website often for the most recent information before making plans.

Dear Pack 502 Friends & Families

Our Sister Scout’s of Woburn have coordinated with Spence Farm, located at 30 Wyman Street,  for "A Weekend for Bridget". On December 5th, 6th and 7th, Spence Farm will open its doors from 9AM. to 5PM.  for retail sales of Christmas trees, wreaths, roping and decorations. Spence Farm hasn’t sold to the public for several years…they are strictly wholesale…but have agreed to do this for Bridget. Spence Farm will contribute $5 from every tree and $2 from every wreath plus a percentage of decorations sold will go directly to the Bridget Sweeney Fund.
