Did you know that in 1925, a tornado ripped through Woburn, forever altering the City's landscape?

Please join the Woburn Historical Society on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Woburn Memorial High School Auditorium as John McElhiney revisits this and other disasters from Woburn's past. The program kicks off Woburn Reads 2010, where residents across the city will read Stephen Puleo's "Dark Tide: The Great Boston Molasses Flood of 1919" and participate in a number of city-wide events.

Deadline for Pathway to Knowledge Bricks January 15th

Woburn Memorial HighThe order deadline for the Pathway of Knowledge Bricks at the High School is January 15th.  The Pathway to Knowledge is a brick path between one of the buildings and the athletic field at Woburn Memorial High.  The proceeds of this sale will benefit the Woburn High School Scholarship Fund (WHSSF).

4" X 8" bricks are $60 with two lines of info and $85 for three lines of info.  Each line has 15 spaces.

Pathway to Knowledge

Woburn Memorial High MascotThe Woburn Memorial High School is continuing its "Pathway to Knowledge" program this year.  Woburn residents and businesses will pay to have two or three lines engraved on a brick that will be installed in a path between one of the buildings and the athletic fields.  The path is lined with trees and benches and is heavily trafficked by students.  The proceeds of this sale will benefit the Woburn High School Scholarship Fund (WHSSF).
