Join the Woburn Public Library for a discussion on Bryan Stevenson's Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption. They will briefly be discussing Between the World and Me--cancelled due to snow--at the start of the meeting. The meeting will take place Thursday March 1st from 7 - 8:45 p.m. in the staff room of the Woburn Public Library (temporary location). Light refreshments will be served, this meeting is for ages 15+.

Nobody said being an adult was easy.  So, come get your feet wet (or get a refresher!) and learn how to do lots of adult things like: smart budgeting and saving, buying a house, help manage your anxiety with yoga, cooking commuter-friendly foods, and learning how to make basic clothing repairs with a needle and thread.  Light refreshments provided.

3/16 Commuter cooking that's fast & fresh. Cooking demo of 2 easy meals in under 60 minutes, using today's trendiest kitchen gadget! Led by 2 long-time commuters, Rebecca Meehan &  Andrea Bunker.

Between the World and Me is a 2015 book written by Ta-Nehisi Coates. It is written as a letter to the author's teenaged son about the feelings, symbolism, and realities associated with being black in the United States.

An Evening of Mystery: Library Fundraiser

The Woburn Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Woburn Public Library present “A Menacing Night at the Modern Museum.” Join us as local celebrities perform in a murder mystery play. Interrogate suspects, examine clues, and be the first team of detectives to identify “Whodunit?”

Come play and enjoy a three course “Dinner to Die For” along with a bit of humor from our local celebrities, riveting drawing items, and a cash bar.

When: November 3, 2017 from 6:30 – 11:30 pm
