Woburn Senior Center is holding their annual Fall Festival on Friday, September 19th from 9am to 1pm. The Woburn Senior Center is located at 144 School St, Woburn, MA. It features over 80 resource representatives of interest to seniors and their family members. All age groups are welcome to attend this Woburn event. You will also find lunch for ticketed guests and over 50 door prizes.

9am to Noon - Fall Festival Open House & Health Fair
12:30pm to 1pm - Lunch served (tickets available beginning at 9am on the day of event until sold, $1.00)
1pm - Door Prizes

On Thursday, May 22 the Woburn Senior Center will host a Veterans' Recognition. This event will take place at the Woburn Senior Center located at 144 School Street beginning at 12:30 pm. Join the Woburn Senior Center for the afternoon to recognize the veterans who have protected our country.

On Saturday, May 17 the Woburn Senior Center will host a free acapella concert. This event will take place at the Woburn Council on Aging located at 144 School Street in Woburn from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. The Metro North Alzheimer’s Partnership, in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Association, MA/NH Chapter and the Woburn Mayor’s Forum on Alzheimer’s Disease, will sponsor this free acapella concert featuring the singing talents of the semi-professional all-male group “Blue of a Kind” and the Winchester High School co-ed “Octets”.

On Tuesday, March 18 the Book Club at the Veterans’ Memorial Senior Center will host a discussion on Barbara Shapiro’s novel, The Art Forager. This discussion will take place at the Veterans’ Memorial Senior Center located at 144 School Street in Woburn beginning at 1:45 pm. Join the members of the Book Club for their discussion on the book and some light refreshments. Come share your views and comments on this literary thriller with others in the community. Is Claire Ross an artist or a forager? Did she do the wrong thing for the right reasons?

The Woburn Senior Center will be hosting free computer training classes each Thursday during the month of January. These classes will take place at the Woburn Senior Center located at 144 School Street on Thursdays at 11 am. The topics will be presented by people who are knowledgeable in the field of computers. This upcoming Thursday, January 9th the topic will be "How to install free software cleaner"; it will be presented by Jack Ebrecht. The following Thursday January 16, the topic will be "How to keep a journal using the computer" and will be presented by Robin Brown.
