3rd Annual Gold Lighting Ceremony for Childhood Cancer
Gold Lighting Ceremony: 6:45 p.m. Sept. 3, Woburn Common, 10 Common St.
Woburn’s 3rd Annual Gold Lighting Ceremony for Childhood Cancer will begin with an introduction by Brenda Cirone with acoustic music by John Murphy. At 7:15 p.m., Mayor Scott Galvin, Stacy Gugliuzza and Tony Stoddard will speak and the lighting ceremony will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. or when it gets dark.
The ceremony seeks to raise awareness for childhood cancer. There will be a gold fingernail painting table, gold balloons, stickers, popcorn, glow sticks, bracelets and paper cranes. Childhood cancer awareness T-shirts are available for a $15 donation.
