Annual Veterans Day Parade and the New Memorial Wall Dedication!

Honor veterans who have fought for this country by attending the Veterans Day Parade in Woburn on Sunday, November 11. Hosted by the United Veterans Council of Woburn and the Veterans Office of the City of Woburn, the parade will kickoff at 10:30am on Main Street at the Woburn/Winchester line.

The parade will travel towards the Woburn Common where it will stop for a ceremony at 11:00am. Following the ceremony, there will be a dedication of the new war memorial wall, listing every veteran from Woburn since the 1640's Early Wars right up to today! This wall is being funded by John Flaherty. The day's events will conclude with a free cookout for veterans and their families!

Woburn Veterans Honor Roll shirts are also available! They come in short and long sleeve with a "Friends of Woburn Veterans" patch on the front and the words "VETERANS WAR MEMORIAL" "WOBURN, MASS" with an image of the Woburn Honor Roll on the front. Short sleeves are $20 and long sleeves are $22.
