Council of Social Concern Annual Telethon in Memory of Donald Manzelli
On Sunday, March 9 the Woburn Public Media Center, Comcast, and the Council of Social Concern will work together to make the 6th annual Council of Social Concern telethon another successful event. This event will take place at the Woburn Public Media Center at Woburn Memorial High School located at 88 Montvale Ave from Noon to 3 pm. The telethon will help promote the Council of Social Concern's programs that provide hope, help, and support to those most in need in our community. All proceeds raised from the telethon will go directly to the agency's programs. Local talent and personalities will make appearances throughout the event.
The telethon will be available on your local cable channels, if you have RCN it will be on channel 15, if you have Comcast it will be on channel 22, and if you have Verizon it will be on channel 45. The event will be hosted by Kathy Lucero, Jim Major, Vinnie ("The Shoe") Ferlisi, and special guest NECN Meteorologist Matt Noyes. Be sure to tune in and call 781-995-4178 to help support the Council of Social Concern. As a donor, you can choose to have your name announced during the telethon. Community members can also present live donations at the Woburn Public Media Center.
