The Horn Pond Summer Concert Series will hold its second concert on Friday, June 23 with Los Sugar Kings, a band who has performed for the series previously. The concert will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Horn Pond, along the flat grassy area of Sturgis Street, otherwise known as Ice House Park. This concert is sponsored by Salem Five Bank.

Los Sugar Kings is a Boston-based Cuban Roots, Rock & Reggae Fusion quartet who write, record and perform across the Northeastern United States. They are known for their dynamic live performances, rich harmonies, intense musicianship and ability to transcend genres. Their music draws from Afro-Cuban Son, Salsa and Rumba-Flamenca, as well as roots-rock-reggae influences from nearly every continent.

This is the fifteenth year that the Horn Pond Summer Concert Series will entertain Woburn residents. The concerts are a perfect way to spend summer nights with your fellow community members and enjoy the beautiful Horn Pond area!

Bring your family, friends and lawn chairs to Ice House Park to enjoy free concerts on select Fridays throughout the summer. With generous support from local businesses, the Concert series is free to the public. For a full schedule including dates, band line-up and sponsors, please visit www.sciwoburn.org
