McTeggart's Concert Cancelled Again Due to Unsettled Weather!
**Updated 8/7/14** We are very disappointed to report - and we're sure you are too - that due to unsettled weather heading our way, the highly anticipated McTeggart's concert has been cancelled, a second time, with no further rain date for the 2014 Horn Pond Concert Series. Unfortunately, The McTeggart's don't have any other available dates the rest of this season, as the original date and rain date were set back in February.
The McTeggart's, SCI and local sponsor, McCue Garden Center arrived at the pond last Friday, in hopes of the rain passing, but unfortunately the rain persisted and today's decision was not made lightly. The McTeggart's made the call, that for the safety of their fans, tonight's concert would be cancelled.
We hope to welcome the McTeggart's back to the 2015 Horn Pond Concert Series, but until then, we still have one final concert, Pamela Steebler, scheduled to take place on August 22.
Jimmy and Mike are one of the most traveled duos on the Irish American music scene. They have been together for over 30 years and played venues throughout Canada and the U.S., Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and New Brunswick, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Virginia and Washington, D.C., and Seoul, Korea.
This is the twelfth year that the Horn Pond Summer Concert Series will entertain Woburn residents. The concerts are a perfect way to spend summer nights with your fellow community members and enjoy the beautiful Horn Pond area.
Bring your family, friends, and lawn chairs to Ice House Park to enjoy free concerts on select nights throughout the summer. With generous support from local businesses, the Concert Series is free to the public. For a full schedule including dates, band line-up, and sponsors, please visit: www.sciwoburn.org
