SCI Social Capitalist Luncheon

From date:

The 2015 SCI Social Capitalist Luncheon will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. At this event, we will have the pleasure of honoring our 2015 SCI Idealists: Benjamin Zander, conductor of The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and Eric Schwarz, co-founder of Citizen Schools and the Executive Chairman of US2020. We will also be honoring a group of outstanding and inspirational Community Social Capitalists.

SCI’s annual luncheon honors individuals who exemplify our mission. The SCI Idealist Award is presented to leaders who dedicate their lives and engage their social capital to address some of the most pressing needs in our communities. At our 2014 luncheon, 360 guests were in attendance and we were able to raise over $70,000 to continue our efforts to connect for community impact! In addition, SCI will present the Community Social Capitalist Award to several outstanding volunteers who impact the lives of others by leveraging their personal and professional network to make a difference.
