Outreach & Technology Coordinator: The Outreach & Technology Coordinator will serve as a member on the Connecting Citizens AmeriCorps team, and will implement technology systems and traditional outreach efforts to connect citizens with the information they need to participate in civic life.
Prospective members should know that AmeriCorps is a national service corps that awards members a modest stipend and an education award after completing 1700 community service hours. The taxable living allowance (stipend) is a total of $11,400 for the full period which will be paid in bi-weekly increments for the duration of your service. Those who have completed at least the minimum hour requirement will receive an education award of $4,750, which can be used for tuition or student loan payments. AmeriCorps members are eligible for basic health insurance during their service.
