Join our St. Barbara’s Family on Saturday September 26th for our Fall Festival activities. This year we will feature Peter Yvanovich, a professional appraiser who will appraise any of your golden treasures – bring one item or many and learn what makes your treasures valuable; 1 item for $5 or 3 items for $10. Chances will be sold at $20.00 each for a 50” Samsung Smart TV. Perhaps you will be the lucky winner! Find bargains at an extra-large Flee Market table. Once again you will have a chance to try your luck at winning the popular Lottery Board.   The children will enjoy a visit with the Canaligators, the Lowell Spinners mascots, during the hours of 11:00 – 12:30.  There will be a variety of children’s games, fun-filled rides, ice cream sundaes, pony rides, 4H Petting Zoo, balloons, trackless train, face painting, and concession stands. Another special treat will be Jabberwock Reptiles from Winchester who will be showing and discussing several different types of reptiles for children and adults to see and pet. A special attraction will be the Bluegrass Band featuring Fiddling Quinn accompanied by his Country Music Big Folks Band. They have performed in several events locally including Harvard Square, Winchester and the New England American Music Festival. We are happy to report that 12 year-old  Fiddling Quinn will be joining us between 12:30-1:30 PM.. Bring your stomping shoes and come on down!

There will be several local high schools in attendance for those who are considering a parochial high school education. We will have representatives from area high schools ready to provide information to interested students, parents, and grandparents. The MRC (Medical Reserve Corp) will be in attendance again this year.

Take advantage of the Farmers’ Market tables such as Roma’s Bakery,  Sweet Without Wheat a glutenfree bakery, the Craft tables, the games, raffles, and chances, as well as the many different food booths.    Bring your antique valuables for Peter Yvanovich to appraise. Our own children’s choir will perform at the 4:00PM Folk Mass and our delicious Pasta and Meatball Dinner will take place at 5:00PM catered by Joseph’s. Beer, wine and soda will be available for those who wish to purchase it. We will have a special guest, Dom Catino, who will entertain us with his Frank Sinatra persona during our traditional Pasta Dinner.

The festivities begin at 11:00AM and credit and debit cards will be accepted. The drawing for the 50” Samsung TV and the raffles will take place during the Pasta Dinner.
