When the winner of a major art award is announced, Sebastian Peters, an outspoken student and candidate for the award, questions the role diversity may have played in the contest's outcome.  Deep divides threaten to fracture Sebastian's friendship with his fellow candidates - Kim, Austin, and Michelle - as they debate why the winner was chosen.  Putting the pieces back together may be more difficult than any of them had bargained for.
