Woburn Redevelopment Authority Community Development Meeting Rescheduled

Due to the snow storm that took place this past week. The Woburn Redevelopment Authority Community Development Meeting has been rescheduled to Thursday January 9th. The Woburn Redevelopment Authority will host a Community Development Meeting at 6:30 pm. The meeting will take place at Woburn City Hall Council Chambers located at 10 Common Street. 

This meeting is a public hearing to discuss the proposed 2014 regional Development Fund application to the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development's Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) with the Town of Billerica and to discuss the City of Woburn's unmet community development needs.

The Woburn-Billerica 2014 Community Development Fund application is a request to fund a joint housing rehabilitation program, and social service activities to support the needs of Woburn and Billerica residents.

Community members are encouraged to give recommendations for revisions or additions to the unmet community development needs that are described in the Community Development Strategy. Other items that will be discussed include a review of the City of Woburn's prioritized community development needs, a discussion of proposed projects, and programs designed to address them.

Comments regarding the Woburn-Billerica application will be accepted for inclusion in the application until Monday, January 2, 2014 at 4 pm.
