Emergency Food Assistance Program Changes

From the onset of the closure of schools in Woburn the district has been working hard to provide food to those in need.  As the public health crisis is an ongoing and rapidly evolving situation there have been necessary changes made to the food assistance program along the way.

As of Wednesday, April 1, 2020 "grab and go" bagged breakfasts and lunches will be handed out from the Altavesta Elementary School  and the Woburn Memorial High School between 11:00am-12:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. In addition, there will be bus routes between 9:30-12:00 stopping at 12 different locations around the city to pass out the bagged meals.   Please see below for the scheduled route and times.

SCI Woburn is asking volunteers to print the bus routes and post them up in the neighborhoods where the buses will be stopping.  It is important that the familes who need this food assistance have all the information to access the program.  Please reach out to Jenna Francis at jfrancis@socialcapitalinc.org if you are able to help.
