Cultural Connections Supper Club for Teens
SCI Woburn in cooperation with the YLC, The Woburn Public Library and The James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club are teaming up to offer a Cultural Connections Supper Club for Teens! Meetings are Thursday nights from 6-8 at The BGC located at 1 Charles Gardner Lane in Woburn. The next meeting is this week, January 16. The Teen Supper Club is an offshoot of the Supper Club for adults that we have had tremendous success with in the past. The format will be one week of learning about a culture and the following week cooking a meal from that culture. The program culminates with the teens cooking a meal for family members and/or other club members. The cost of the program is FREE with club membership. This activity is open to all students in grades 8 and up.
This week the class will be focused on Caribbean cuisine!
Check here for dates and times for club orientation. If your child is interested in this activity, please have your membership fee of $25 plus a membership form filled out when you come to class on Thursday.
Please contact Jenna Francis at email@example.com to sign up.
This project is funded through CHNA 15 DoN funds from Lahey Hospital and Medical Center and Winchester Hospital.
