COVID 19 Emergency Childcare

The YMCA of Greater Boston branches and centers will be open for Emergency Care on a drop in basis, in accordance with state guidelines. They will be serving infants, toddlers, preschoolers and
school age children. This care will support essential workers and vulnerable children only. It is recommended that all families keep their children home, and only seek emergency care if needed. The emergency care will be offered through the end of the state of emergency, currently set for May 4, 2020. Please note that they will do a screening prior to entry into the space. This screening will include a temperature check of both the child and the caregiver. Space is limited and on a first come, first serve basis for essential workers only.

In Woburn, the childcare centers will be operating out of the Sylvan Street location as well as the main branch at 137 Lexington Street.  They will be operating Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm offering flexible schedules to meet the needs of all essential workers.
