SCI is embarking upon a stage of significant growth, with our budget more than doubling as we add 20 full-time AmeriCorps members in our three current communities and develop new strategies for expanding our impact across Massachusetts. We are recruiting to fill a new Development Associate position to implement the fundraising activities needed to support our growth. The Development Associate will support SCI's fundraising efforts by running the annual event, managing the grant proposal process, and managing the day-to-day development systems. View the full job description by clicking here. Please help us find great candidates for the position by telling others about this announcement.

Last year’s Impact Woburn Healthy Communities planning process identified increasing arts & cultural opportunities as a top priority. As a result, we are pleased to announce the new Woburn Arts & Culture Today collaborative project. This will help enhance existing arts & cultural opportunities and create new events that use the arts as a community building tool. Plans for the project include coffee houses, an artist directory and arts & culture calendar.

Thanks to committee member David Eggleton for his work on getting this initiative started and to Impress Graphics for their logo design work. We look forward to working with all of our collaborating partners on this project. For more information or to get involved, contact Andrew by clicking here. This project is funded by a Healthy Communities grant from CHNA 15 and Lahey Clinic.

Hi everyone, this is Andrew, live from our table at the Woburn Business Association Expo at the Woburn Hilton. This is an exciting endeavor and I look forward to seeing all the people I will get to meet tonight.

Thanks to all who participated in the 2007 Neighborhood Day!
