A lucky crowd got quite a show last Friday night with the second Jack Marlowe Park Concert performer Southern Rail. The concert, sponsored by Michael de la Maza, drew a crowd of over 150 music enthusiasts to hear some great original and proven favorite bluegrass tunes.

The great weather helped Southern Rail make an extraordinary debut in Woburn. The Band, made up of banjo, 6-string guitar, bass cello, and mandolin players all joined together in riveting harmonies to produce vocals everyone enjoyed. Southern Rail’s reputation for strong material, heart-stopping harmonies, and infectious good humor got the crowd laughing and clapping to the beat throughout the two hour concert.  read more »
