Become an SCI AmeriCorps member! Apply to join the team of SCI AmeriCorps members to build social capital in our communities through civic engagement opportunities. We are currently accepting applications for our positions that begin in September 2013! 

Our host sites are located in Boston, Dorchester, Mattapan, Woburn, Lynn, Chinatown and Fall River. SCI AmeriCorps members serve as either Volunteer Outreach Coordinators (VOC) or Youth Leadership Coordinators (YLC). On September 10, six new AmeriCorps members began their ten months of service at four different non profit organizations in Woburn, including SCI's main office, NuPath Inc., Boys and Girls Club of Woburn, and the North Suburban YMCA. Each AmeriCorps member serves as either an Outreach and Technology Coordinator (OTC) or a Youth Leadership Coordinator (YLC). Although they each have specific requirements for their position, they share the same goal of connecting citizens to strengthen the community.

Social Capital Inc. is happy to announce that through a special competition they have been awarded 9 new half-year AmeriCorps slots.  The 9 new AmeriCorps members will serve from the mid-January until the end of June 2012.  Two of these AmeriCorps Members will be here in Woburn; one at the Boys and Girls Club, and one at the YMCA International Learning Center.

We are currently accepting applications for a half-year AmeriCorps position that starts in late January 2012 and serves through June 2012.  The position based here in Woburn is as an Outreach and Technology Coordinator who will be helping to develop and market cross-community volunteer recruitment efforts, and collaborative systems for recruiting and managing volunteers.

This fall, five new SCI AmeriCorps Members started at different non-profit organizations in Woburn.  Although we all are from different places originally, for this year we are all proud to call Woburn our home.  Each AmeriCorps Member is either a Youth Leadership Coordinator or an Outreach & Technology Coordinator. 
 

Social Capital Inc. is recruiting new AmeriCorps members for 5 Mass.
