Got the winter blues? Join our Garden Club!

Feeling down after this long winter? Well, think ahead to the great things you can do in the Springtime! NuPath is starting a Garden Club and we're looking for volunteers to join!

The Garden Club will be responsible for beautifying all of NuPath's locations, such as our offices and residential homes located throughout Middlesex County. Garden Club members will plant and maintain fllower gardens at these locations in order to make them beautiful places for our clients to live and work.

Want to make a new friend?

NuPath is looking for volunteers to spend one-on-one time with some of the individuals we serve. Some examples of what this one-on-one time could consist of are: playing Yahtzee with a woman in the evenings, accompanying a young man on outings into the community, or doing arts and crafts with someone in our Day Habilitation program.

Whatever you do, it will surely be a rewarding and fun experience. So, if you love to meet new people and make new friends then contact NuPath today!

Event Committee at NuPath

NuPath's Annual Taste of Spring event is quickly approaching, and we are trying to make it bigger and better than ever this year! In light of this, we are currently looking for volunteers to be a part of a committee to help prepare for this wonderful night.

Committee duties will include: assisting with ticket sales, working directly with restaurants involved in the event, event planning, and night of the event activities.

Ice Skater Needed!

Do you enjoy ice skating? Are you looking for a fun and rewarding volunteer opportunity? NuPath is looking for a volunteer to accompany one of the people we serve on at least four ice skating outings this winter.

Volunteer class instructors wanted!

Woman with a Developmentally Disabled WomanNuPath is looking for volunteers to teach classes to adults living with developmental disabilities. This is a great opportunity to share your talent with others and make a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve. Examples of classes needed are: photography, painting, money management, computer skills, cooking, etc. (the sky's the limit!)

Help Tutor Kids After School

Looking for a fun volunteer opportunity?

The Plympton School is looking for volunteers to help tutor 2-3 kids at their after school program. The kids are from preschool age to middle schoolers.

The Woburn Historical Society's Third Annual "Pathway of the Patriots" Event

Come join the Woburn Historical Society for tours down the battle road (between 11 and 1) with re-enactors playing the parts of historical figures telling their stories from April 19, 1775.  There will be a British encampment manned by His Majesty's 10th Regiment of Foot and a Colonial Militia encampment manned by members of the Charlestown Militia.  Each camp will show what life was like at camp back in the 18th century and perform all the tasks that were done.  Lots to see and do and there will also be a food vendor there to keep you refereshed, so come on down.  The event will run from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday May 3rd at The Old Tarky School Lot off Russel St and Silver Mine Rd.
