Hurld School Verizon Playground Map Project

Due to the impending weather, the Hurld School Playground Map Event has been moved to Saturday, April 18th.

Current and future students at the Hurld School will be getting a course in geography outside the classroom - on the school's playground. The Massachusetts Branch of Verizons Pioneers will arrive @ 7:30 with stencils, paint and paintbrushes to paint a map of the United States on the new pavement in the back playground. Part of Verizon's Education for Kids program, the map is geared to help students with their geography, as well as to promote national pride. The large and colorful map will take nearly five hours to complete.  The Hurld School is located at 75 Bedford Road  in Woburn and this event will be taking place from 7:30 am -2:30 pm on Saturday April.
