Horn Pond Summer Concert Series Seeking Committee Members

SCI is looking for music enthusiasts to help us pick the bands that will entertain Woburn this summer for our Horn Pond Summer Concert Series.

We have begun putting together a host committee and we want YOUR input on who should entertain the crowds this summer!

The next committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27th from 7-8pm.

Join the Griffin Photography Museum for Horn Pond Photographs by Sean Gold at the Aberjona River Gallery (184 Swanton St., Winchester, MA). This photo gallery open up on Tuesday, February 26 and runs until April 22.

Come see amazing photographs of Woburn's favorite Horn Pond. Photographer Sean Gold has been inspired by the breathtaking views at the Pond for most of his life and it is the site where he perfected his craft as a photographer!

There will be a "Reception with the Artist" on March 19 at the gallery from 6:00-7:30PM.

Join WREN for Weekend Walks around Horn Pond

Do you appreciate nature and helping to conserve natural resources in the community? Then you can make a difference by joining the Woburn Residents' Environmental Network (WREN) for their weekly Saturday morning walks around Horn Pond. 

The next conservation walk will be on Saturday, February 2nd at 9:00am. The walk will begin at Ice House Park, on the intersection of Sturgis and Water Streets. Those attending can help pick up trash and ensure that Horn Pond stays beautiful!

Monster Dash and Fun Run!

The Woburn Host Lions Club and the Woburn High School Leo Club are hosting the 1st Annual Monster Dash at Lions Park at Horn Pond on Sunday, October 21 from 1pm-5pm. Wear your favorite costume and win prizes for best costume! Register for the races for children and adults. Other highlights include a cookout, a DJ, and the Woburn High School Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams dressed up as zombies and monsters. All proceeds from the event go to the Lions charities.
