Exotic cooking with Fresh Pine Apple; One pineapple will be used to cook Pine Apple Fried Rice and Stir-fry Chicken Cashew Nut.

The first Woburn Farmer's Market at Spence Farm on Sunday was a beehive of activity--and I'm not just talking about the local honey producer's booth.  It was a great example of how locally produced food can help build community.  People had a chance to catch up with other community members and get to know local food producers.  I'm looking forward to enjoying this throughout the summer, and sharing about it here.

No plans for Thanksgiving Dinner? No family in town to celebrate with? Can't really afford the whole Thanksgiving feast this year?

Hello Woburn local members--let me chime in with my reasons for signing up for this group.  Of course, I have general interest in building up our local community that is reflected in my work developing SCI.  But I think what really grabbed my attention about this new group, from David E's posts, was it's connection to personal passion for tasty, healthy food.
