Join the Woburn Lions Club on Saturday, June 8th at 10AM for a showing of the award-winning documentary The Renegades: A Beep Ball Story at the Showcase Cinemas followed by a baseball cookout and ceremony from 12-2PM at the Crowne Plaza.

Malcolm White Elementary School Spring Fair & Balloon Pop Fundraiser

Join the Malcolm White Elementary School (36 Bow Street, Woburn) for a Spring Fair & Balloon Pop Fundraiser on Saturday, June 1st from 11AM-2PM.

This fair will include a Bike Safety BMX Pros Trick Team Show at the front of the school from 11am -11:45am, and at the side lot there will be food, fun activities, music, games, raffles, face painting, surprises, special guests and prizes!

There will also be 300 balloons ready to be “popped” for a Balloon Pop Fundraiser. Balloons will be popped by ticket holders for their chance to win anywhere from $1.00 to $1,000.00 in cash.  

How does the Balloon Pop work?  Each balloon is numbered along with a corresponding ticket. You will pop the numbered balloon that corresponds to your ticket and inside will find out if you’ve won anywhere from $1.00 to $1,000.00.

Balloons are $20.00 each and may be purchased in advance at the Malcolm White School. Contact Kerry Cahill at jackseanzoe@verizon.net to find out how to get in on the action. A limited number of tickets will be sold.

Corporate balloons may also be purchased for $100.00. Businesses will receive a balloon as well as a 18” x 24” printed sign posted at the fair for everyone to see. Money raised will be used for enrichment programs at the school.

16th Annual Taste of Spring Fundraiser for NuPath Inc.

Join NuPath Inc. for their annual Taste of Spring Fundraiser on Wednesday, May 15th from 5:30-8:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (15 Middlesex Canal Park Drive) in Woburn. 

One of Woburn and Burlington's largest and most popular community tasting events, this fundraiser will include a delicious assortment of food vendors, cash bar, raffles, and it will be hosted by KISS 108's Kendra Petrone!

"We Are Marc Fucarile Strong" Fundraiser

Come down to the Tanner Tavern (474 Main St., Woburn) on Thursday, May 16th at 7PM for the "We Are Marc Fucarile Strong" fundraiser. Marc, a native of Stoneham, is the only remaining Boston Marathon bombing victim at Mass General Hospital.

Woburn Firefighter Joe Foley is coordinating this event to help raise money for the Fucarile family who is facing mounting hospital bills.

This fundraiser will include music, drinks and raffles. There will be local "celebrity" bartenders from both the Woburn and Stoneham Fire departments. Various local businesses have generously donated items for the raffles.

"We Are Marc Fucarile Strong" Fundraiser

There will be a fundraiser to support the Marc Fucarile family. Marc was a victim of the Boston Marathon bombings and a native of Stoneham.

This fundraiser will include music, drinks and raffles. There will be local "celebrity" bartenders from both the Woburn and Stoneham Fire departments. Various local businesses have generously donated items for the raffles.

One Fund Boston Benefit

The Woburn Business Association and the Woburn Host Lions Club are hosting a block party to benefit The One Fund Boston.

Companies may pay a $50 team entry fee to enter three people in the "Company Trivia Challenge," or attendees may purchase a ticket at the door for $10 each. 

This indoor/outdoor event will feature a silent auction, games, contests, food and beverages, and entertainment. This event will be held rain or shine.
