Woburn Senior Center Luncheon- Volunteer Opportunity

The Woburn Senior Center is looking for volunteers to help out at their Volunteer Appreciation Day luncheon on Saturday, April 11, at the Woburn Senior Center.

Volunteers will help set up at 9:30am, help serve beverages and meals at 11:30am, and/or help clean up at 1:30pm. This is a great opportunity for everyone, especially elementary school students (with a parent) looking for YES hours. You can choose a shift, or volunteer the whole day!

Friends Helping Seniors Octoberfest Holiday Fair

On Saturday October 19, Woburn Council on Aging/Senior Center located at 144 School Street will be hosting their Holiday Fair. This event is taking place from 9 am until 1 pm. All proceeds from this event will help benefit "Friends of Woburn". There will be lots of items for sale at this event including books, videos, baked goods, clothing, crafts, and fine photography. There will also be a knitting area, holiday table, raffle basket table, and much more.

Fall Festival Health and Information Fair

The Woburn Senior Center will be hosting a Health and Information Fair on September 28 from 9am-12pm.

Guitar Classes at Senior Center

Guitar Classes will be offered at Woburn Senior Center on Friday mornings at 10:00 beginning June 1. Class participants will learn to play folk-style chords in first position plus a repertoire of folk and popular songs. Students must supply own instruments (nylon strings work best for beginners).  Song books will be available for a minimal fee. Each class will cost $2.00.
