Festival on the Common

A new initiative coordinated by Social Capital Inc, the Tanner Youth Coalition is a collaboration between embRACE, Keystone Club at the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn, Spectrum, the Woburn Youth Council, and Woburn Welcomes. The Tanner Youth Coalition will be running a trio of events during the month of December to spread holiday cheer in the Woburn community, see below for details!

Woburn Positivity Video

--The video date has been postponed due to weather and COVID-19 concerns.-- To spread some hope in a time of need and some holiday cheer with all the wonderful holidays coming up, embRACE is putting together a Holiday Positivity Video with multiple groups and participants! Following CDC as well as WPS guidelines concerning COVID-19, embRACE will choose an outdoor location in Woburn and compile a video of positive words and the diverse clubs of our city. Participants will be asked to create hand-made signs with positive messaging, and embRACE welcomes participants to make signs in different languages! After assembling filming, the positivity video will be shared with all participants as well as the greater Woburn community to spread hope and holiday cheer. If you or your group is interested in participating in the filming, please reach out to Sophia Matthews at 21smatthews@woburnps.com!

Holiday Centerpiece Raffle

Woburn neighbors, brighten your winter or holiday table with a beautiful floral centerpiece!  This no cost raffle is open to all Woburn residents.

This year, we are not able to get together with family, friends, and loved ones as we typically would.  In order to spread winter/holiday cheer through Woburn, The Woburn Youth Coalition (Keystone, SCI, Woburn Youth Council, Woburn Welcomes, WMHS embRACE, and WMHS Spectrum) will be raffling three floral centerpieces.

Please complete this Google Form between December 1 and December 17 to be entered into the raffle.  Winners will be announced on Friday, December 18.  (Centerpieces will be delivered to the winners. Participants MUST have a Woburn address - no P.O. boxes.)

Thank you McCue's Garden Center for generously donating the centerpieces!

Food Train!

A new project coordinated by embRACE & Woburn Welcomes:

In an effort to spread holiday (and general) cheer during the craziness that has been 2020, WMHS embRACE is partnering with the community group Woburn Welcomes to offer a fun, COVID-19 safe way to connect people through recipes and food.
