The North Suburban YMCA blood draw is on Wednesday, October 24th from 3-7pm in the Rock Climbing room. They need volunteers to help set up for it at 2:15pm. They are also looking for more participants.

The American Cancer Society is helping sponsor this study. They hope that by having more participants, it will help them have a better understanding of how to prevent cancer and save lives. Each participant will fill out some paperwork and get their blood drawn. Then, they will complete periodic surveys at home about their health, lifestyle habits, and family history which will help researchers learn factors that can cause and prevent cancer.
