The Woburn Historical Society will be showing a documentary “Voices from the Basement” on Monday, June 25 in the Flaherty Auditorium of Woburn Memorial High School.  Doors will open at 6:30pm; the film will begin at 7pm.  Admission is free and light refreshments will be served at the end.

Columnist and radio personality Howie Carr will be the guest speaker at this Sunday’s event hosted by the Woburn Historical Society.  Howie will be talking about his new book Hitman: The Untold Story of Johnny Martorano: Whitey Bulger's Enforcer and the Most Feared Gangster in the Underworld. He will be on-hand after the talk to take questions and sign books.  Books will be available for sale.
